Hotel Bor - Borovets

Absolutely enjoyed our stay! So cozy and warm, such a good winter retreat.

The indoor pool and spa facilities were a great retreat after long days on the slopes.

The sauna was barely warm during its limited operating hours, disappointing after a long day of skiing.

Chilling in Borovets ⛷️

Food was lekker, loads of options for vegetarians! The staff was super friendly, always keen to help. The view from the restaurant was a real highlight, perfect for chilling and kuiering with mates.

Pool was freezing, no one really used it, shame!

Hot water was turned off during the middle of the day.

The gorgeous view from my room was the highlight of my stay! 😊 Spacious accommodations with a great bathroom, but the sauna was barely warm and only open for limited hours. Would've loved a better heating option!

The breakfast was reasonably good and plentiful and the parking was nearby. The staff were helpful and hospitable all the time. The property's location was peaceful, back up to the gondola. Moreover, it's short walk to buffet style restaurant which provides a great selection of food for breakfast and dinner, the center and the beautiful forest.

Ideal location to Tsarska Bistritsa.

Slope view room offered a fine backdrop each morning. The ski depot's convenient location.

Mattresses lacked comfort, leading to back issues for both guests. A common complaint. The shower space was cramped, with a curtain that clung during use, resulting in a waterlogged bathroom. The heating system in the room was overpowering, requiring open doors to mitigate, which also invited noise from surrounding bars until the early hours. Food, while varied, became repetitive over a week, lacking excitement in dining choices. No safe in the room forced reliance on a costly safety deposit box at reception, which feels inadequate for a mid-range hotel.

The staff is nice and helpful. The bedlinen is clean. The cuisine is variable and delicious. Good price for what you get.

I loved that I could step out of my hotel and find great dining options like the Pizza Bar & Grill Grizzly right at my doorstep, and with the Borovets Ski Resort just a short walk of about 1 km away, it made my skiing experience super convenient and enjoyable.

spa area has several saunas and a steam room. our room lacked soundproofing.

The breakfast and dinner were a feast with delicious homemade cakes, made my taste buds dance! The guy from the shuttle was super nice, we got to the slopes without a hitch. And you can't beat that view from the dining area-just amazing!
